Children of the forests, elves are graceful people known for their use of delicate Pokemon to help their treetop communities flourish. Elves are passionate creatures, easily moved to delighted laughter, blinding wrath, or mournful tears. They are impulsive and members of other races sometimes see them as flighty or impetuous, but they do not shirk responsibility or forget commitments. Thanks in part to their long life span, elves sometimes have difficulty taking certain matters as seriously as other races do, but when genuine threats arise, elves are fierce and reliable allies.

who stay in their natural forests lean towards deeper skin tones of tans and browns while city dwellers tend to be paler. A typical elf ’s hair colour is dark brown, autumn orange, mossy green, or deep gold. Elves’ ears are long and pointed, and their eyes are vibrant blue, violet, or green. Elves have little body hair, but they favour a wild and loose look to their hair.
Elves age at about the same speed as humans, but show few effects of age past adulthood. The first sign of an elf ’s advancing age is typically a change in hair colour—sometimes greying but usually darkening or taking on more autumnal hues. Most elves live to be well over 200 years old and remain spirited almost to the end.
Residence[]
The elven town of Ashir resides in the south-east of Illith surrounded by a thick luscious forest. The elves are very careful builders and more often than not use their Pokemon to help bend the trees and plants into the shapes required to make their homes instead of cutting down the trees. Most Ashir residents become skilled at walking among the trees from a very early age, learning not to fear the long falls. There are many who have left their ancestral home though and now live in Greyson along with the humans and other races.

An Ashir elf will usually be given their Pokemon from the day they are born as a protector and a companion for the babe. Both Pokemon and elf will have been born on the same day and will grow up together learning to fight or follow whatever role they are given within the town.
